Plans
Seokai has four plans. Each comes with a monthly credit allowance and a monthly limit on how many products you can optimize.
- Explorer: free, 10 credits and 15 optimized products a month, no llms.txt generations
- Growth: $14.99 a month, 150 credits, 500 optimized products, 4 llms.txt generations
- Scale: $39.99 a month, 500 credits, 2,500 optimized products, 10 llms.txt generations
- Enterprise: $79.99 a month, 2,000 credits, 10,000 optimized products, 30 llms.txt generations
Some features need a higher plan. Bulk update, the AI automations, AI visibility and weekly reports start at Growth. Multi-language SEO, scheduled llms.txt generation and internal links start at Scale.
The Plans Page
Open Plans from the Seokai menu. The top card shows your current plan, its renewal date, a chart of the credits you used each day, and three rings: Credits used, Products optimized this period and llms.txt. If your usage fits a cheaper plan, or you are close to your plan's limits, a card under it says so.
Compare plans lists every plan side by side, with a button to switch. Shopify bills the plan and prorates the difference. A plan change takes effect right away. If you cancel, you keep your paid plan until the end of the billing period and then move to Explorer. Credits you bought stay on your balance.
What Credits Pay For
Credits are used when AI writes something or when an image gets lighter:
- Search appearance (page title, meta description and focus keyword together): 1 credit for a product or blog post, 0.75 for a collection or page
- One field with Write with AI: 0.25 credits
- Title: 0.25 credits
- Description: 0.5 credits for a product or collection, 3 credits for a page or a blog post body
- FAQ: 1 credit per item
- Image alt text: 0.25 credits per image
- Image optimization: 0.75 credits per image, only when the image gets at least 10% lighter
- Social posts: 0.25 credits per network
- Automation: 1.25 credits per new product or collection, plus 0.25 per image for alt text
These don't use credits: llms.txt generation (counted per month instead), multi-language SEO translations, the site audit, redirects and AI visibility checks.
Checking Your Balance
Every Seokai page has a credits button in the top right showing your balance. Click it to see how many monthly credits are left, when your plan renews, and any extra credits you have bought or earned. Monthly credits are always used first.
When you are low, a banner tells you how many products your balance still covers. If you run out, AI writing pauses until your credits renew or you buy more. Nothing you already saved is affected.
Buying More Credits
Click Get more credits in the credits button or a low-credit banner. Three packs are available:
- Starter Boost: 50 credits for $4.99
- Growth Pack: 250 credits for $14.99
- Pro Pack: 1,000 credits for $39.99
Each pack is a one-time charge, approved and billed by Shopify. Extra credits are used after your monthly ones. Purchased and reward credits expire 12 months after you get them, but never before 1 November 2027.
