Bulk Image Optimization

Bulk Image Optimization helps your store’s images load more efficiently so shoppers get a smoother experience. You manage everything in one Seokai screen instead of editing files one by one. You can also open the bulk image optimizer from the home screen when the shortcut is shown.

Getting started

Open Image optimization from the sidebar. You will see images list per entity.

Browsing your images

Use the tabs for Products, Collections, Articles, or Unused. Search by title and use pagination for long catalogs. Each row shows where an image appears, its resolution and size, and labels such as oversized files or missing alt text.

Running a batch

Select up to 10 images. In Batch optimization, choose a preset Default, Web optimized, Thumbnail or Custom. Turn on Resize if needed, set width and height, and use Keep aspect ratio to preserve proportions. Adjust Quality, then Optimize to apply the same settings to all selected images. Use Deselect all to start a new group.

Restoring an image

When a backup exists, Restore original brings back the version saved before optimization. Confirm when prompted.

Credits

Optimization uses credits from your Seokai balance. Check the bar at the top before larger batches.
