How to Improve Your SEO Score in Seokai

Understanding Your SEO Score

Seokai calculates an SEO score for each product based on the completeness and quality of its metadata — meta title, description, keywords, tags, and image alt text. A higher score means better search engine readiness.

Fill All Meta Fields

The most impactful improvement is simply generating all fields. Many products have incomplete metadata. Use the SEO Optimization detail page to check which fields are missing and generate them.

Check Character Lengths

Meta titles should be 50–70 characters and descriptions 120–200 characters. Content that's too short or too long gets penalized in the SEO score. Seokai generates within these ranges automatically, but check manually edited fields.

Use the Statistics Page

The Statistics page shows your top-scoring and low-scoring products. Focus your optimization efforts on the low-scoring products first for the biggest impact.
